Walking Tour with Chocolate Experience

Bratislava is the town associated with chocolate. The well-known Stollwerck Company began the tradition of chocolate manufacturing. Although the company was renamed the tradition and delicious taste remain. We will offer you our specialty, you would not even find in Belgium. Delicious "Makovka" is a sweet white chocolate with poppy seed filling, which can be tasted only with us. Also in this case, more than ever true that every experience is better than thousand words.

Your tour begins at the monumental building of the Slovak National Theatre. Along the way on the promenade you can fresh yourself with tasty ice cream in summer and in winter you can warm you up with a hot punch.

At the end of the promenade you will get to the Gothic St. Martin's Cathedral - the most famous sacral building in Bratislava where Maria Theresa was crowned as the Hungarian monarch. She loved chocolate, especially in the form of chocolate soup which embraced the whole imperial family.

In the walking tour we included all Bratislava´s "Must", which you have to see, like the oldest Slovak University, the narrowest house, the oldest church and one of the most popular city sites – St. Michael's Gate. Of course you won´t miss the Main Square, Primate's Palace, and a few other surprises – tasting experience – the local chocolate is an unforgettable experience.

Do not forget to take a picture with the statue of “Schoner Naci”, good-natured little man who lived a very hard life and in spite of this tried to cheerful the locals with trilingual sincerely greetings and songs.
